About:

Hey there! If you found this write up about me, you probably are taking that first big step towards your well-being (a.k.a. reaching out for therapy). I know it's very difficult (been there, done that). So, I want to appreciate you! And if you finally decide to have me on-board for your journey towards well-being, I'll make it a safe and non-judgemental space for you! But, before that I know you would want to get to know me first. Here I go, I've done my B.A. in Psychology (Hons.) from Lady Shri Ram College (University of Delhi) and currently in my Masters in Clinical Psychology from Christ University (Bengaluru). Along with that, I've completed a certificate Course on Trauma-Informed Psychosocial Care from Hansraj College, Mental Health - Peer Facilitator Training from Indraprastha College, and Suicide Prevention Gatekeeper Training from NIMHANS. I'm trained in crisis counseling as well.

Expertise:

Stress management, overthinking, anxiety, interpersonal relationship concerns, trauma and crisis, major life transitions, academic/workplace stress, self-awareness & self-growth, and more.

Approach:

My approach is primarily inclined towards Person-centered approach, which means I trust in my clients’ innate potential for growth and healing. At the same time, I recognize that every client is unique, which is why I use an integrative approach to fit the client's needs. My practice often incorporates elements of Mindfulness and Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) as well.

Education:

B.A. in Psychology (Hons.) from Lady Shri Ram College (University of Delhi) and currently in my Masters in Clinical Psychology from Christ University (Bengaluru)
