About:
I’m Alphonsa George, a psychotherapist committed to supporting individuals, couples, and families in navigating life’s challenges, encouraging resilience, and fostering positive transformation. Grounded in empathy and relational attunement, my approach to psychotherapy is inclusive and strengths-based. My philosophy is integrative and client-centred, drawing from systemic, emotion-focused, cognitive behavioural, and other evidence-informed practices tailored to each client’s needs. I work from a queer-affirmative and trauma-informed lens, recognizing how identity, culture, and context shape emotional experiences and relational dynamics. Life can feel overwhelming, uncertain, or stuck at times—but you don’t have to face it alone. Together, we will create a space where you feel safe, seen, and supported—a place where you are not judged, your voice matters, and your story is honoured. Whether you’re seeking therapy for yourself, your relationship, or your family, I’m committed to creating an environment of compassion, reflection, and meaningful growth—where you can discover new ways of connecting to yourself and others.
