About:

Hi, I’m Piya (she/her). I’m a therapist who believes you don’t need to have everything figured out to start feeling better. Therapy can be a space to pause, untangle what’s weighing you down, and feel genuinely heard—without pressure or judgment. I see this journey as a collaborative one where we’re on the same side, making space for feedback, open conversation, and warmth, while showing up as our full, unapologetic selves. I work with children, young adults, and adults on a range of concerns, including identity and self-concept, neurodivergence (like ADHD, learning differences, or autism), anxiety, depression, PTSD, OCD, emotional overwhelm, and relationship or family challenges. My goal is to meet you where you are and walk alongside you as you find your way forward. My approach is eclectic and responsive. I draw from humanistic and client-centred work, CBT, RECBT, DBT, narrative therapy, art and play-based methods, mindfulness, ACT, and strength-based, neurodiversity-affirming perspectives—depending on what feels most supportive for you. What stays constant is the effort to co-create a space that feels safe, grounded, and truly yours. I hold a Master’s degree in Applied Psychology (Clinical Practice) from the University of Mumbai. I've supported future therapists as a Teaching Assistant and explored the inner experiences of young people through research on suicidal ideation. But above all, it’s the honest, meaningful conversations I share with clients that shape and deepen my work, always at a pace that feels right to you. Together, we’ll work toward building insight, reconnecting with your strengths and values, and creating a clearer, more confident path forward—one step at a time. Reminding you that you don’t have to carry it all alone.
