About:
"Dr. Pratishtha Petwal is a Clinical Psychologist with extensive experience in supporting adults through depression, anxiety, ADHD, relational challenges, and trauma. Her therapeutic work is grounded in a trauma-informed, queer-affirmative, and neurodiversity-affirming framework that centers safety, agency, and the lived realities of her clients. She integrates process-oriented Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with Internal Family Systems (IFS), somatic practices, and compassion-based approaches to create a therapy space that is both reflective and deeply attuned to the client’s emotional rhythms. Dr. Pratishtha is trained in Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), allowing her to tailor sessions to each person’s needs- whether that involves building emotion regulation skills, softening inner criticism, or working through stuck relational patterns. Her work goes beyond symptom management. At the heart of her approach is a commitment to helping individuals reconnect with their inner strength, develop a more compassionate relationship with themselves, and move toward lives aligned with their values and sense of meaning. Clients describe her style as warm, engaged, and thoughtful- someone who listens deeply, challenges gently, and holds space for complexity."
