Dr. Shabana is a widely experienced and trusted Senior Consultant Psychologist, known for her clinical depth, warmth, and ethical integrity. With over two decades of experience in premier hospital settings, she brings a grounded, thoughtful presence to her therapeutic work. She began her career at the prestigious Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute of Medical Sciences & Technology, Trivandrum, and has since worked across super-specialty departments, offering psychological care that complements medical treatment in multidisciplinary hospital settings. In 2009, she earned her Doctorate from the University of Calicut for an in-depth study on the psychosocial correlates of conduct disorder and the efficacy of structured intervention programs. She is deeply passionate about being a compassionate medium for healing—grounded in unconditional positive regard and guided by the belief that each person can rediscover themselves and the possibilities that life still holds. She also offers professional development workshops, reflective supervision, and has mentored numerous early-career psychologists.
