Anwesha Bhattacharyya is the Co-Founder and the Chief Consultant Clinical Psychologist of Healing Harmony. She has been practising as a consultant clinical psychologist for almost the past ten years. She had completed her M.Phil degree in Clinical Psychology from Ranchi Institute of Neuropsychiatry and Allied Sciences (RINPAS). Apart from being a licensed Clinical Psychologist, she has pursued her Ph.D in Applied Psychology from University of Calcutta. Additionally, to hone her skills as a psychotherapist, she has also pursued a Postgraduate Diploma in Trauma-Focused Therapy (PGDTFT) from the School of Human Ecology, Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Mumbai. She follows a trauma-informed approach in her space of counselling and therapy. She is also acquainted with and uses the cognitive behavioural approach, third-wave therapeutic approaches, solution-focused brief therapy (SFBT), and narrative practices in her therapy process depending on the client and the issues addressed. Apart from being a therapist, she is a passionate teacher. She has taught undergraduate and postgraduate courses and provided research supervision for the past eight years. She has been associated with multiple universities in the capacity of visiting faculty as well as full-time faculty. She has been an invited speaker in various webinars, panel discussions, workshops and orientation programs over the last few years. She has presented oral papers at multiple national conferences and has been a speaker at various national conferences and recently the International Congress of Psychology (ICP 2020+). Her interest areas include child and adolescent psychopathology, depression, anxiety spectrum disorders, psychological trauma, trauma-informed interventions and their impact, psychological research, positive psychology and neuropsychology.
