Hi, I'm Avani (she/her). I'm an RCI registered Clinical Psychologist (Associate). I believe that therapy should feel safe, supportive and I strive to create a warm, non judgemental space where clients can openly explore their thoughts, feelings and experiences without the fear of being misunderstood or rushed. I view therapy as a collaborative journey rather than a process of giving advice or quick fixes. I aim to create a space where you feel comfortable about being yourself, whether that means talking freely, sitting with difficult emotions or taking time to find the right words. Sessions are paced according to what feels manageable for you, balancing exploration with the right tools. I encourage open conversations while offering a structure to the sessions. Above all, my focus is on helping you feel heard, understood and supported as we work together.

Approach:
I am trained in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) from the Beck Institute and follow an eclectic approach drawing from CBT, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT) and mindfulness based interventions.
