About:
Namrata Jagwani is a Counselling Psychologist who works with young adults, adults and couples navigating individual and relationship challenges. With over 4 years of experience and 1000+ therapy hours, she supports individuals dealing with concerns such as anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, overthinking, anger, procrastination, and relationship difficulties. Her approach is trauma-informed and integrative, drawing from Transactional Analysis (TA), Emotionally-Focused Therapy (EFT) and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). Namrata believes therapy is not only about managing symptoms but also about understanding how early years shapes one's life and making helpful choices in the present.
She holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Mount Carmel College, Bengaluru, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Counselling Psychology from St. Xavier’s, Mumbai. An early role at the Symbiosis Centre for Emotional Well-being became a turning point that shaped her clinical practice. Beyond individual therapy, Namrata actively facilitates mental health workshops, corporate trainings, and Employee Assistance Programs (EAPs) across educational institutions and workplaces.
With a background in classical dance and a Visharad in Bharatanatyam, Namrata naturally appreciates the connection between the mind and body in the healing process. Outside the therapy room, you’ll most likely find Namrata exploring new cafés, planning her next travel escape, or pausing mid-walk to admire (and occasionally befriend) the neighbourhood cats.
