Shruti Garg is a Drama and Movement Therapist trained at London University, with additional training in trauma-focused therapy from TISS, Mumbai. She is a queer-affirmative therapist who works with children, adolescents and adults through individual and group therapy. Her approach combines drama, movement, embodiment, play and talk therapy to help people explore thoughts, emotions and experiences that may sometimes be difficult to express through words alone. Shruti has a particular interest in working with queer and trans individuals and in supporting healthcare professionals to develop queer-affirmative practices through experiential, embodied and play-based workshops. At Anvaya Healthcare, Shruti Garg works as a Drama & Movement Therapist, Trauma-Focused Therapist and Queer-Affirmative Therapist, supporting children, adolescents and adults through individual and group therapy. Her work combines Drama & Movement Therapy with talk therapy, using creative and embodied approaches such as movement, play, imagination, body awareness, breath and grounding to help individuals explore emotions, experiences and patterns that may be difficult to express through words alone.
